Have you ever wanted to just TALK to someone so badly... but anytime you tried to talk to anyone... you couldn't find the words to say what you wanted to? And then when you try to think of what you wanted to say.. you couldn't even remember? Or perhaps you never knew what it was that was so urgent to talk about. What was so pressing on your mind. And you think maybe it was just restlessness. But then you think... maybe it's just an overwhelming need to be understood. I just want to be understood.

I feel like this all the time! :) I remember having a conversation with a friend a super duper long time ago and trying to decide whether human beings' one real want/need is to be understood or to be loved. All I ended up deciding was that it's possible to love someone without really understanding them, but it's impossible to understand someone but not love them, too. Does that make sense? It's like when you pray for someone - you can't help but love them just a little bit more because you feel a little bit more for them. Anyways :)
Soo, moral of the story = Toootally call me if you ever want/need a friend, Annie - I think you and I would make great ones! :)
PS - sorry if all that sounded too serious! I really am a happy person haha! :D
Hmm that's interesting! I don't know if I agree, though. I mean, you can love someone in a "we're all children of Heavenly Father" way if you don't understand them... but how can you really love someone if you don't understand them? Well, I guess you can love someone.. but I don't know if you can really be IN love with them. Does that make sense? It made sense in my head. haha But I can see what you're saying too! :)
and Maralie. Seriously. Let's be friends. I think you are the coolest thing since Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch!!
